Established a joint committee for the development of ports 

As confirmed on the official website of the Italian Government, it was fsigned the collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility, General command of the Port Authorities andAssociation of Italian ports.
An important agreement, which provides
theestablishment of a joint committee who will be entrusted with the study and analysis of issues of common interest.
An action that traces, in all probability, present and future growth developments in the port world, a sector which, in terms of numbers, importance and strategic weight, also plays a fundamental role in the eyes of the Government; a government that aims at sustainable growth and a competitive transformation of the entire logistics sector with the direct involvement of all the players. Clear objectives of all parties involved

"To share data and information of mutual interest, as well as specific experiences or interpretative / application problems of standards, directives or guidelines, which require an interdisciplinary examination, in order to generate shared and sustainable solutions in a proactive key and uniformity of port governance ". The objective is clear and, as expressed by the Minister Giovannini, the hope is that there is a true relationship of collaboration between the main players in the maritime sector, to better favor it development of Italian ports, the transportation and safety in the maritime sector, in line with the broader governmental plan to strengthen competitiveness and modernization of the port system and national logistics.

Involvement of the entire port system

To sign the agreement, representing the entire Italian port system, the Commander General of the Port Authority Corps - Coast Guard, Admiral Chief Inspector Nicola Carlone, the Head of the Department of Sustainable Mobility, Counselor dr. Mauro Bonaretti, and the President of the Association of Italian Ports, dr. Rodolfo Giampieri.
